You were closer to the action. The costume hosts werelouder. The character that came through in the action (facialexpressions, etc.) was great. Fabulous and wonderful.
I was also happy to see the same jousting team on thefield. You can truely tell that both Festivals are run by the samepeople.

Unfortunately he had to deal with a small group of kidswho refused to stay away from the barrier (the parents did naught tosolve it)
and during one joust a splinter (a large one at that) cameflying into the audience and hit one girl. When he jumped
down to her aid she laughed and said she was fine. Theylet her keep the piece as a sovenier.
