Okay. This one's the biggie. As we were invited in orderto bring our droid, we spent quite a bit of time with Kenny and thedroid even more time. So... Suffice it to say, that's what most ofthe pics are of.
We rolled him into the room (R2 not Kenny) in three wheelmode and then went to 2 for his presentation on stage. Kenny justloved him. He constantly used him for a visual aid.
Kenny thrilled us by complimenting the droid constantly, but when Jeremy came on stage to interview Kenny he started tointerview the droid. <sigh> Happy people we were.
To make things better, Kenny agreed to do a bunch ofphotos with Martin and I and R2. We were on such a high.
Then the highlight. Signing the inside of the droid's backpanel. As we discussed his 'guts' Simon stood near by. 'That'simpressive.' he said. "Does Lucas know about this one?" He smiled atus both. "I think he does." I cheerily responded. I had written Lucasa letter, quite a while back, telling him how much I admire him andwhat he has done for the film industry. I included my web address anda note telling him how much of a challenge it has been trying tobuild our own R2. So... I guess he does.
